The history failures

• Hotel confirmations, booked directly where possible, and your return ticket.

• Enough accessible funds, and evidence of them, for the length of stay you've declared.

• Anything that shows what you're returning to an employer letter, business documents, enrolment proof.

Then answer simply and consistently. Where are you staying, how long, who's paying, when are you leaving. Vague or shifting answers are what the ministry's statement is describing.

If you're rejected

Two things to know.
